The Real Thief: Secrets Revealed

“Hands up in the air!” the FBI yelled pointing their guns at the surprised Brandon and James.

Just then, James pointed his revolver at a crack on the ceiling. Just before the FBI agents could react, James had shot at the crack.

PEEEEW!

The whole ceiling was crumbling as everyone rushed for cover. James’s rough palms held a firm grip on Brandon, as they sprinted to a hole that lead underneath the warehouse. They leaped just in time as the entrance closed right then.

BOOOOM!

Brandon and James collapsed and drunk from their water canteens.

“Now where are we?” Brandon questioned.

Just when James started to reply, Brandon accidentally leaned on an unusual rock that jutted out the wall. The whole place rumbled as a new path slid into view right in front of them. Awestruck and with jaws open, they gaped at each other, grabbed their belongings, and headed into the new path. Everything was dark and eerie and the duo could not observe anything. The only reason that caused them to travel in the right direction was when they felt their hands on the walls in the way they first started trotting towards. Finally, they received a glimpse of gold light at the end of the long passageway, and rushed towards it. The light commenced to become brighter and brighter until James and Brandon reach a room full of… GOLD! There were gold jewels, nuggets, and bars, rings, bracelets, and necklaces. They dazzled and sparkled, as the two of the “treasure hunters” were filled with extreme delight!

“I told you so!” Brandon exclaimed as his companion and him filled their bags as much as they could with the wealth that surrounded them. Soon, they heard a voice behind them that sounded as if a lady screaming at them.

“Stop right there!”

When the friends turned around, they gasped at Bertha holding a pistol right at them. There were more people joining in from behind her and they wore police uniforms. This was not good.
